Personal
How to fill this in
  • Choose the highest level you have a Canadian credential or an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for. An ECA must come from an approved agency and be less than five years old.
  • Extra points for studying in Canada need at least eight months of full-time study in person. A Canadian program taken online from abroad earns education points, but not these extra points.
Language

Choose your score in each ability. The matching Canadian level (CLB for English, NCLC for French) is shown beside each score. If you have both tests, the tool counts the stronger one as your first language.

Canadian work experience

List your paid jobs in Canada from the last 10 years. Search for each occupation by job title or NOC code.

Calculate as ofUsually this month
How to fill this in
  • Choose the occupation that matches your main duties, not your job title. You can check the duties on the official NOC site.
  • Only skilled work (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3) counts. Other jobs can be entered, but they are left out.
  • Full-time is 30 hours a week or more. Part-time work counts in proportion: 15 hours a week for 24 months equals 12 months.
  • Work while self-employed or while studying full-time does not count. Tick the box on that job.
  • Overlapping jobs count up to 30 hours a week in total. Gaps do not reduce your score, but the Federal Skilled Worker Program needs 12 continuous months in one occupation.
Foreign work experience

List your paid skilled jobs outside Canada from the last 10 years, if you have any.

How to fill this in
  • Only skilled work (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3) counts. Choose the occupation that matches your main duties.
  • Part-time work counts in proportion to 30 hours a week.
  • If you worked remotely from Canada for a foreign employer, enter that job here and tick "Remote from Canada." IRCC looks at these cases one by one.
Other factors
What counts as a qualifying job offer
  • In writing, for full-time (30+ hours a week), continuous, year-round paid work in Canada.
  • Lasting at least one year after you become a permanent resident.
  • It can be from your current employer, even if you started recently.
  • It must still be valid when your PR application is assessed, and an IRCC officer decides whether it is genuine.

Limitations of this tool

Estimate only. Not affiliated with IRCC or connected to any official system. Not legal advice.

Read all limitations
  • Based on the current published rules. The calculation follows the Comprehensive Ranking System and the November 3, 2026 changes as published by IRCC on October 16, 2026. IRCC can change the points, the high-wage occupation list or any other rule at any time, and this tool may not reflect those changes.
  • Not connected to any official system. This tool is not affiliated with IRCC and does not connect to IRCC or any government database. It calculates only from what you enter, and nothing you enter is sent or saved.
  • An estimate, not an official score. Your official score is the one IRCC calculates in your Express Entry profile. Whether you are invited, and whether your application is approved, depends on IRCC's assessment of your documents.
  • Simplified assumptions. Work is counted from the dates and hours you enter, in whole calendar months. The TEER category is read from the second digit of the NOC 2021 code. The tool relies on you to mark self-employment, work while studying full-time and remote work from Canada, and it cannot check whether your work was authorized. Special rules for physicians and for job offers in skilled trades are not modelled.
  • Preliminary eligibility check only. The program check covers the basic requirements of the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled Trades Program, based on your answers. It does not verify settlement fund amounts, the validity of your language test or credential assessment, whether a job offer meets IRCC's requirements, admissibility, or the requirement to plan to live outside Quebec.
  • Category check is indicative. Category matches use the occupation lists IRCC published as of October 16, 2026, and only the occupations you enter. The skilled military recruits category is not checked. IRCC can change categories and their lists at any time.
  • No cut-off prediction. Cut-offs depend on how many candidates gain points, how many invitations IRCC issues and which categories it draws. Nobody can know them until draws resume.
  • Not legal advice. The results are general information only. They do not create a consultant and client relationship, and should not be relied on to make decisions about your application. Kunpeng Global Immigration Consulting Inc. accepts no responsibility for any decision made on the basis of these results.
